Placing a client? Call one person. Get a straight answer.
You've got a week of phone calls in front of you. We'd rather save you most of them. If we have the right home, we say so. If we don't, we say that too. On the first call.

Who's behind Ayetex
Hi, I'm Andy.
I grew up in Scotland. I spent 20 years in IT across Scotland, Australia and then Texas.
We started buying houses in Austin on 14 February 2020. A month later COVID hit and a lot of landlords stopped getting paid.
So we asked a simple question. How do we make sure the rent gets paid? The answer was housing vouchers. The government always pays.
Then it changed. It stopped being about guaranteed rent. It became about giving really nice houses to the people who need them most.
"You can do good work in a profitable way."The CEO of our bank said that once. It stuck.
That's Ayetex. We're not a charity. We're a housing company that fixes houses properly, keeps them, and treats the people in them right.

Straight answers.
Do you accept Housing Choice Vouchers (Section 8)?
Yes. Across our homes. We know the HQS inspection, the RFTA paperwork and the waiting that comes with it. If a home needs a repair to pass, we do the repair.
I'm a caseworker. What's the quickest way to an answer?
Call 507-713-5668 or email info@ayetex.com. Tell us family size, area and when. You'll hear what we have, what's coming up and what won't work. Usually the same day.
What do you look for in an application?
The same written criteria for every applicant. Income or voucher paperwork, rental history and a standard background screening. You get the criteria in writing before you apply. We follow all federal, state and local fair housing law.
Why don't you list your homes' addresses?
Some of the people living in our homes have good reasons not to be found. So we don't publish addresses. Ask us and we'll tell you what's available and where.
What kind of homes are they?
Mostly single-family houses and duplexes in and around Austin. We keep them. We're a long-term owner, not a flipper.
Are you a nonprofit?
No. Ayetex LLC is the holding company that owns the homes. We think good housing and a fair profit belong together. It's also why we'll still be here in ten years.
